Associates have good verbal and listening skills.
Responsibilities will include handling outbound and inbound calls with customers, educating them on their account status and setting up acceptable payment options.
This position is also eligible to receive a $2,000 scholarship per year to one of several Midwest Universities (with a maximum eligibility of four years).
Candidates for the Student Collections Associate position must be in good academic standing (2.
0 GPA or higher) and will be scheduled 20 or less hours per week offering a flexible schedule to work with the student's class schedule.
Eligible Universities include- Augustana University Briar Cliff Dakota State University Lake Area Technical College Morningside University South Dakota University Southeast Technical College University of Sioux Falls University of South Dakota Western Iowa Technical Community College Job Duties and Responsibilities Proficient with all Microsoft programs.
Gain a solid understanding of Collections Processing.
Perform Audits of overall Collection performance.
Document Issues Identified through various audit processes.
Create/update Reports of Identified Issues.
Work with Management team on various projects.
Flexible and willing to learn new opportunities.
Conduct tasks in a manner that complies with all consumer protection regulations and treats consumers fairly.
Skills and Qualifications Applicants must currently be attending an accredited college.
Be in good academic standing (2.
0 GPA or higher) Be employed for 90 days and perform job duties at a Meets Expectations rating before receiving scholarship dollars.
