Job Type Full-timeDescriptionThe Production Lead is responsible for maintaining a product that is running properly, smoothly, and efficiently, making adjustments accordingly.
The primary purpose of this job is to ensure employee safety and product quality.
The Production Lead is responsible for developing and leading results-orientated, winning teams.
The lead ensures that product specifications are correct and make according adjustments by completing spec verifications during critical check points.
The Crown Bakeries Mission, Vision, and Values should be carried out by the Production Lead when addressing our employees, making decisions that impact our safety, customers, and quality.
Responsibilities:
Monitor and enforce control plan.
Maintain machine checks, process checks, and document checks frequently to meet spec verification.
Complete a walk through of the production areas and common areas, focusing on safety, housekeeping, and 5S.
Monitor hourly production vs.
targets and apply countermeasures as necessary.
Communicate ingredient inventories to ensure all materials are available.
Review staffing needs for the shift such as absences, new employees and onboarding.
Discuss quality issues:
new, ongoing, and new quality alerts.
Walk the area to check that team members have proper PPE, supplies, and tools.
Work with production technicians, supervisor, co-workers and other departments to run a product smoothly.
Analyze root causes of production issues and develop corrective actions.
Facilitate line startup, start over, and changeover procedures.
Monitor many tasks and processes that occur at the at the same time.
Adapt, listen, assist, and be aware of your team.
Handle multiple high-priority projects and assignments, work well with others in stressful situations, and meet deadlines as necessary Constantly maintain a smooth and efficient operation line.
Work with technology to input specifications and monitor machine functions.
Remove all out-of-spec product from the line, and prevent sub-standard product quality.
Maintain machine checks such as roller, dimension, temperature, size, and weight to product specifications frequently.
Follow and comply with all good manufacturing practices.
Follow all safety rules, policies and procedures and regulations.
Follow company policies and procedures as outlined in Employee Handbook.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or Equivalent 3
Years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment General software/technology experience (MS Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) Must be flexible with schedule, including start times and weekend work.
Willing to acquire a wide variety of skills to assist the surrounding team and fully understand the processes.
Motivate others, develop strong peer relationships, drive for results, managing & measuring work.
Train, develop, and motivate team members on job performance, quality expectations, and standardized work.
Able to problem solve, learn on the fly and make quality decision.
Must be able to work in a team environment as well as work independently.
Physical
Qualifications:
Work in a noisy environment for length of shift.
Must frequently lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally and/or move up to 100 pounds with assistance.
Reach above shoulder height.
Able to bend, twist, stand, climb stairs/ladders, push/pull, and walk for the length of shift.
Work Environment:
Work in a noisy environment.
Work in a small indoors area.
Work in wet and/or humid conditions.
Work in cold or hot environments.
Work around machinery.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
