SUMMARY : This position is responsible for the supervision of the Night Inventory Control Team Members. Primary duties include daily communication and support on production variances issues. These duties also involve the oversight of the daily production feed and inventory reconciliation of the fresh beef, pork, and case ready plants, along with multiple daily reporting functions. The position is tasked with coordinating product structure development for new beef, pork, and value-added product installations. Daily warehouse inventory reconciliation activities include multiple internal and external freezer warehouses and 3 forward warehouse locations. The position is also tasked and accountable for QMF program writing and project reporting functions. Special project responsibilities are assigned from Production Planning and Inventory Control Supervisors. The scope of this position requires sharp attention to details, excellent problem-solving skills, a highly collaborative communication style, clear mental focus and commitment to a very strong work ethic. The professional office work environment is positively interactive, dynamic, and fast paced in productively achieving daily and weekly individual performance expectations.
Education: Bachelor?s degree in an academic field more closely related to the duties of the Position is a preferred.
Experience: 3+ years of industry experience; Planning/Operations/Sales/Accounting experience is preferred.
Computer Skills: Requires the ability to comprehend and execute planning processes through available existing software tools provided to the Production Planning and Inventory Control Teams. The software includes proprietary Tyson programs such as the Product Availability System(PA) and the Order Processing System(ORP). Also requires usage of the Microsoft Office programs primarily including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint. The QMF programs include the QMF for Windows and QMF for Workstation programs.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required. The ability to effectively train other Team Members in the Inventory Control and Planning Teams is critical to this position. Informal presentations to the Planning/Inventory Control Teams and other internal Support Groups is required.
Special Skills: The ability to prioritize and manage numerous duties, time sensitive tasks and pertinent communication simultaneously is essential. The need to build productive working relationships with other Supervisors and Peers, Inventory Control and Production Planning team members, along with an extensive group of individuals from various Support Teams is crucial. Experience and proficiency in data entry skills in strongly preferred.
Travel: 1 to 3 domestic plant location trips per year.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
